So why does montreal want Galchenyuk out of Montreal? Keeps popping up everywhere I look. Granted I think he is a better wing than C, is he just not a Julien guy?

I have no clue, he is on the 4th line with Ott and Martinsen as a Wing.
I think he needs to play C and get his growing pains out.

IF they really have no interest in him as a C....Duchene for Serge and Galy

Landy needs a ticket out of town. How about Tanev to get things going

A one for one Duchene Galchenyuk trade is plausible.

Wouldn't be popular for Colorado fans, but plausible for about everyone else.

It's so wierd. The dude is not 4th line material.

I would be all over that in a heart beat! I saw juulsen play a few weeks ago and the dudes got game as well. Great first pass, can skate and patienthe with the puck. I've messed with the idea of duchene for juulsen, gelly, 1st 2017. But IMO sergachev should be the main target. Other teams have nhl ready to go dman who are better than juulsen.

At some point in the last couple of years, Landeskog decided he wanted to be the Avalanche equivalent of Lucic.

I don't have any problem with Landeskog wanting to play a gritty style of hockey but the Avs drafted him to be an offensive player and honestly, he seems to be more effective as an offensive player than he does as an agitator.

Maybe it's a "pride thing" and maybe he wants to be the "tough guy" but I'd rather have him live up to his POINT potential rather than his HITS or PENALTY MINUTE potential.

The Avalanche need GOALS.

Leave the agitation to the guys who didn't cost us 1st round picks. THEY are a dime a dozen.

As long as he doesn't take stupid penalties I'm ok with him playing physical. I think some of his best games are actually when he plays physical and the goals also seem to come when he's more engaged physically. The game I went to against Minnesota in November was the best game I've seen him play in a while. He got under Dubnyk's skin and scored the only goal of the game. He can be a Lucic, but he's taken a lot of stupid penalties in the last few seasons. We haven't had anyone score the "big goal" for us when we've needed it since Sakic left. That's my issue with Landy, a captain is supposed to be relied on to provide the leadership when the team needs him most. I don't know what he's like as a leader in the locker room, but on the ice he's a player that's left me wanting more.
